Job Description
TransWorld Technologies Ltd. is inviting applications for the position of Data Analyst / BI Developer Intern. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates and final-year students to gain real-world experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Dashboard Development, Operations Reporting, and Automation.
The intern will work with SQL, Apache Superset, Python, MySQL, Grafana, Node-RED, Telegram Bot API, and AWS to support analytics and day-to-day business operations.

Eligibility Criteria
Graduate or final-year student in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
Basic understanding of SQL and databases.
Interest in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Operations.
Basic knowledge of Python will be an advantage.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand operational requirements and convert them into reports or data outputs.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Requirements & KPI Definition
Understand business and operational requirements and translate them into reports, metrics, and dashboards.
Support the definition and tracking of client-specific KPIs such as shipment performance, driver alerts, device health, and operational metrics.
Coordinate with Operations and Technology teams to understand reporting requirements.
2. Data Management & SQL Development
Design and maintain datasets in Apache Superset.
Write, test, and optimize SQL queries for analytics and operational reporting.
Validate data accuracy against raw database outputs.
Troubleshoot GroupBy errors, joins, missing values, mismatched data counts, and other data issues.
Perform regular data checks and identify anomalies or inconsistencies.
3. Dashboard Development
Develop, maintain, and support interactive dashboards including:
Bayer Operations Dashboard
BAGIC ITC Analytics Dashboards
Driver Alert Monitoring Dashboard
Transporter Performance Dashboard
CharterHouse Alert Dashboard
Support the development of KPI cards, line charts, bar charts, heatmaps, pie charts, and drill-down tables.
4. Dashboard Optimization & UI Improvements
Improve dashboard usability through filters, styling, colour coding, and layout optimization.
Implement basic CSS customizations and branding elements.
Ensure dashboards load efficiently and filters function correctly across charts.
Support testing and validation before dashboards are released to users.
5. Operations Support & Reporting
Support the Operations team with daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Monitor operational dashboards and identify exceptions, data gaps, and abnormal trends.
Assist in tracking shipment performance, alerts, device status, driver activity, and other operational KPIs.
Coordinate with Operations teams to validate data and close reporting-related issues.
Prepare MIS reports and management summaries as required.
Maintain proper documentation of reports, dashboards, queries, and operational processes.
Provide timely support for urgent and critical operational reporting requirements.
6. Automation & System Support
Develop and support automation solutions using Python, Node-RED, and Telegram Bot API.
Automate repetitive data processing, reporting, and monitoring activities.
Support Superset user roles, permissions, and dashboard access control.
Assist in identifying opportunities to reduce manual operational work through automation.
7. Reporting & Client Support
Prepare and deliver regular performance reports and dashboards.
Support dashboard demonstrations and incorporate user/client feedback.
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and reporting issues.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely closure of data and dashboard-related issues.
8. AWS & Technical Support
Support basic AWS server management activities under the guidance of the Technology team.
Assist in monitoring system availability and dashboard performance.
Support troubleshooting of technical issues affecting analytics and reporting systems.
