About The Role:

You will actively learn and apply concepts in Python API development, AI/ML model integration, Docker, and cloud services within a practical setting. You'll support our experienced team by assisting with development, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation tasks under close mentorship, gaining invaluable hands-on experience. We will provide dedicated mentorship and guidance throughout your internship, offering exposure to real-world AI/ML applications and the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

● Assist senior developers in designing and developing RESTful APIs using Python frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.
● Support the integration of these APIs with various AI/ML models, helping ensure smooth communication.
● Learn about and assist with containerizing applications using Docker under supervision.
● Gain exposure to deploying APIs on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and support related tasks.
● Participate in testing API performance and help identify areas for optimization.
● Work closely with the development and AI/ML teams to help identify and troubleshoot basic API integration issues.
● Assist with monitoring deployed APIs and learn debugging techniques.
● Contribute to documenting API endpoints, integration workflows, and basic deployment steps.

Skills Required:

● Good foundational understanding of Python programming concepts.
● Strong desire to learn about backend development and API development (familiarity with FastAPI or Flask through coursework or personal projects is a plus).
● Basic understanding of, or a strong willingness to quickly learn, Docker and containerization concepts.
● Familiarity with fundamental RESTful API principles (HTTP methods, status codes).
● Eagerness to learn troubleshooting and debugging techniques within a Python environment.
● Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
● Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
● Basic familiarity with CI/CD concepts.
● Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) through coursework or personal projects.
● Interest in learning about MLOps practices.
● Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
