Skills Required:
Strong Python fundamentals.
Basic to intermediate understanding of Image Processing and Computer Vision concepts.
Hands-on exposure to OpenCV (academic or project-based).
Familiarity with concepts like frames, pipelines, latency, throughput, and real-time processing.
Basic understanding of databases (SQL preferred; NoSQL is a plus).
Awareness of backend communication concepts such as APIs, WebSocket, or message queues.
Familiarity with Git and basic development workflows.
Ability to understand technical documentation and system diagrams.
About the Role
Elansol Technologies are seeking for motivated Python Interns to contribute to a real-time, vision-based system, with a focus on computer vision and image processing. The role also involves supporting real-time data pipelines and backend integrations using WebSocket, Kafka, and databases. The intern will collaborate closely with senior engineers on live projects involving video streams, event-driven architectures, and scalable systems, while continuously learning and growing in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Work on image processing and computer vision pipelines using Python.
Implement and optimize vision-based logic using OpenCV and related libraries.
Assist in handling real-time video streams and frame processing.
Contribute to real-time data flow using WebSockets and message queues (Kafka) under guidance.
Understand and work with structured data storage (SQL/NoSQL databases).
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code.
Participate in testing, debugging, and performance tuning of vision and backend components.
Collaborate with senior developers to understand end-to-end system architecture.
Actively learn new tools, frameworks, and best practices as required by the project.
Nice To Have:
Exposure to deep learning models (YOLO, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Basic knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven systems.
Experience with video streaming, RTSP, or camera integrations.
Understanding of multi-process or asynchronous programming in Python.
Awareness of performance optimization in real-time systems.
